Today, I got given a tasks to do which was making a Thank You card to the teacher I was with last week and who stood out to me the most. The teacher that stood out to me last week was one of our school teacher's Miss Morrison. She wasn't the only that stood out but the best teacher last week was Miss Ashley. They both had did a lot of fun things they did in their groups and some of the days, I was with them. The letter says it all but Miss Ashley you were the best as well.

Bloom's Taxonomy

WALT use Bloom's Taxonomy to critically summarize a current event

Today, the people that didn't go camp had to do a current events tasks. It is a tasks that you have to find a story to read about and answer the questions given to you on each slide. I did a story called (Coming Second Place) and the story was all about how the NZ woman seven's came second place. They had got beaten by Australia and they feel guttered because they thought they put down NZ. This story is really interesting to read and you should read it.

This week was the year 4-6 EOTC but some of the year 7-8 had went with them as well because they didn't go to Camp. My EOTC Reflection

WALT reflect on EOTC

Today we had got given a tasks to do. It was all about talking about what we did all week. The things we had did all week were:

• Bowling
• Lazer Strike
• MiniGolf
• Team Building
• Slip and Slide
• Movies
• Reflection

Those are the things we had did all week and it was a really fun week while the year 7-8 had went to camp. On this google drawing, it has questions and we had to answer them but for each verse, we had to do 50 words and the last verse we had to use 75 words and I managed to complete that.

Lilliput Mini Golf

WALT reflect on what we did at Mini Golf

Today on the 22nd of November 2016, we went to Mini Golf for the 4-8 EOTC. Some people had fun doing the Mini Golf and so did I. First of all, we entered our school building and waited in one classroom (Room 6). Then we departed TPS to go to Mini Golf. It was at a well known area which was (Orakei) but if you don't know where Mini Golf is, it is next to Parnell Pools. We got put into groups and off we went to play Mini Golf. 

My group members that were participating with me was:

• Me (Paris)
• Sosaia
• Timote
• Faka'ata
• Kensington
• Coralee

I enjoyed the playing Mini Golf with the people I was with because they were really good at playing and they were making me laugh to much. Thanks to Kensington and Faka'ata mum because she had bought me and my group members a Trumpet and Popsicle each. She was really generous to even buy us food and use her money for us.

The best words that I can suits my feelings at Mini Golf are:

Kiwi Can

Last Week for Kiwi Can we played a game called noodle soccer for this game we used those noodles you use for swimming to smack the ball into the other teams goal. Our team won because the other team kept on cheating because they were using there foot to blocking the goal so whenever they did that the point went to my team. Also we had to do our activity and that was making up a chant for our class and the boys made up one and it was just like juju on that beat but they changed some of the words I thought that there's was really cool because they did like a cool dance and yeah. We also had to write down on a paper of what responsibility means and then share it with the class.

Why do we celebrate Halloween ??

We celebrate halloween because it is celebrating the Christians Feasts of all Hallows day and to scare the spirits away

What do you do when you celebrate Halloween ??

When I celebrate halloween, I walk around the streets with my parents in a costume getting ready to knock on peoples door and ask for lollies with the phrase of "Trick or Treat"

What do you see when you celebrate Halloween ??

I see people in scary and cute costumes walking around with bags of lollies

What games do you play when it is Halloween ??

The games you can play is Lollie Scramble, Hide and Seek and Hide and Clap

What do you do when it is Halloween ??

When it is Halloween, all I do is walk around with my family knocking on peoples door for lollies

What food shall we make on Halloween ??

On Halloween, we should cook heaps of scary cookies and cakes

What other things would you like to do on Halloween ??

On halloween, I would like to play scary games with my friends, have a sleep over and eat heaps of lollies

Reading - The year the world changed

WALT reflect on what we had read about...

I had read a book about the year the world changed... It was a book about what year the world changed and it was 1913. One hundred years ago, the world was on the verge of many momentous changes. Technology, Society, Travel and the arts were about to be transformed. In the century since 1913, the world has seen more changes occurring at a faster pace than ever before. Who know's what the next 100 years will bring ?? One thing is certain that there will be even more dramatic changes in the ways we lead our lives. Right now in our years there will still be different changes happening in our lives. Technology will still be around, Internet will still be around, Electronics will still be around and all the things that are living here with us right now will still be around in the late 3015.

This book was very interesting for me to read and I really enjoyed reading about it. It is called "The year the world changed". I would say that you could read this book but I hoped you enjoyed reading my summary about this book.

Today we had a really interesting block with Heather and Tony.They were teaching us how to keep safe around dogs and they were giving us good facts about dogs.Heather had a dog called Dicyan and he has been trained well and knows how to listen to what people say (The Owner).He was a really cool dog.

Novel Study - The BFG

WALT reflect on the BFG story by Roald Dahl

Today was the day we had finished reading the whole book of BFG , written and published by Roald Dahl.Our learning task for today was to find one of the key ideas in the story.First we have to choose one key idea , use examples and use evidence….

This is my tasks....

My key ideas that I am going to be using is , Never Giving Up and Friendship…..

Example-In the story , Sophie and The BFG were both energetic to never give up , and to look for the queen.They were both travelling from the orphanage and they had a really good time bonding.He had been protecting her ever since he got to know her and they had a really tight friendship , as like they are becoming best friends.Sophie was always there with him no matter what had happened , and she has been inside his ear as they have been travelling.She hasn’t been eating for the last 1 or 2 days until she got to the queen’s palace.They have been really good partners as they have been travelling to the queen's palace.They had a really exciting adventure.

Room 4's Timetable

This is a tasks that we had to do.First we had to create a google spreadsheet and discover and create Room 4's timetable.I ordered them as how they were supposed to.I looked off a time, timetable, and charts worksheets but I will show you what I have copied off.

Technology Reflection

WALT reflect on our technology session

Today for technology we had went to do 3D art and we were learning how to use TINKERCAD.It was a really hard task using the tinkercad because of the part where you put the shapes into the egg or the rectangle.I have had fun using the tinkercad because it was a really exciting and new experiment for me.Next week I will focus on getting the tinkercad done so I can move onto the real experiment and make what ever I want.

Technology Reflection

WALT reflect on technology

Today for our technology session the year 8 had their last session for pewter casting.Some people had and haven't finished there necklace but our pewter casting tutor said he will finish it off for us and bring it down to our school.I made a king crown necklace for some I admire and who has always been there for me.It has been a really great technology session with our pewter casting tutor (Mr Grundy).
